By now you've heard the sad news about Katy Perry and Russell Brand divorcing. But it's not just their fans who are upset by it. According to reports, Hindu religious leaders are outraged by the news too. They've been voicing their concern over the news since it went public last week, saying Katy and Russ are giving their religion a bad name. As you might recall, the two married in a lavish traditional Hindu ceremony that lasted several days. On leader told the press quote, "They should have taken marriage more seriously as it is a sacred right in Hinduism," with another adding, "If celebrities opt for a Hindu wedding, they should be prepared to adhere to the commitment, devotion, responsibility, sanctity and morals, which are attached to it.
