Travel to a tropical oasis in busy Miami dedicated to conservation and ecology: Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is an elegantly landscaped horticultural gem tucked into a shady residential neighborhood just south of the skyscrapers of downtown Miami. The mission of the garden, founded by Col. R. H. Montgomery, was to conserve tropical plants within the garden and in their native habitats through exploration and education. Next get excited during this once-in-a-life-time visit to meet with Dale Chihuly. The Chihuly Studio is not open to the public, but you can see information, videos and photos of selected works, exhibitions and artist biography at the Chihuly website.
